Harpoon 3 Advanced Naval Warfare
Harpoon 3 Advanced Naval Warfare includes both Single Player (SP) and Multi Player (MP) - the first multi-player version of Harpoon 3.
History
Harpoon II, and by extension, Harpoon 3 were designed for multi-user play and actually had much of the critical coding written with multiple players in mind. However due to the poor financial condition of the publisher, this dream was never realized.
Now, with the support of the Australian Department of Defense, and heavy internal investment by AGSI, the dream has come true.
The system requires a server, preferably a dedicated machine for this first release, and either a LAN or a broadband eithernet connection.
It may be hard to believe, but there are so many objects in Harpoon 3 Advanced Naval Warfare that it actually uses more bandwidth than a First Person Shooter!!!
